My first exposure to the real estate profession was in the field of professional property management. I worked in Santa Monica and Los Angeles for many years under rent control. I began to move into sales, as my company negotiated with tenants to relocate them to upgrade rents and thereby increase the value of buildings for sale. I augmented this experience with rentals of my own, learning trial and error and trying to make the most of each kind of market...whether it be...too many properties on the market of too many applicants on every property.

After that period, I spent several years in school administration before I entered the real estate profession as an agent. I got my first listing because I was wearing a "gold coat" and my career included many government resale buyers. I treasure the friends I have made in these years. Some have moved from condo to house to pool home, etc. with me, keeping in touch from office to office...(all 3 of them.)

I came to ReMax to join the office of the top producer since 1991. Over the succeeding years, we worked together to service nearly 100 clients each and every year. During this period, many different market conditions have cycled, including fast-paced overly agressive pricing to homes dropping in value. During this period, I became a expert in processing shortsales, corporate relocations, bank repossessions, and various first-time buyer programs.

Sellers have houses that they want to sell and buyers want to find houses to buy. My job is to put these two people together. There is one buyer for every home.
